On going collaboration with Glencroft who commissioned me to document their local community in North Yorkshire wearing the countrywear brand.
Documenting Clapdale Wool.
A project started with the help of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Sustainable Development Fund to create wool products hand knit yarn, jumpers, accessories – from wool sourced from within a 5 mile radius of Glencroft’s home of Clapham, Yorkshire Dales.
Local farmer William wears their Thwaite jumper which has been made from wool he has supplied Glencroft, including from those four Dalesbred sheep behind him. Behind him is the dale, or valley of ‘Clapdale’.
“It’s an image that captures the circular economy we’re trying to create in this corner of the Yorkshire Dales with our Clapdale Wool project.” Glencroft.
